arrays of dew

on the flower stems –

a gift after rain

 

露の数珠 花弁に並ぶ 雨めぐみ

 

tsuyu-no juzu / kaben-ni narabu / ame megumi

 

you so lovely

poets call it "autumn cherry" –

cosmos on a cloudy morning

 

可愛いね 俳人名付ける 秋桜

 

kawaii-ne / haijin nazukeru / aki sakura

 

your chrysanthemum

already in the evening shade –

late autumn

 

晩秋や 菊も日陰に 入りにけり

 

bannshu-ya / kiku-mo hikage-ni / irini keri

 

leaves treat with

gradation yellow to red

autumn in mountain

 

山の秋 木の葉に色づく 黄色朱

 

yama-no aki / konoha-ni irozuku / kiiro aka

 

still hanging on

morning glory in bloom –

october sky

 

神無月 なぜまた花咲く 朝顔や

 

kanna-zuki / naze mata hana-saku / asagao-ya
