The journey of my English Haiku resumed in 2020. Several journals like Frog Pond, Bloo Outlier, Cold Moon Journal, The Asahi Haikuist Network, Failed Haiku and Prune Juice Senryu published my works. I was honored to have been nominated for Push Cart Prize by Cold Moon Journal in 2021.
a pendulum clock
I dip the teabag
again and again
new moon
a star descends
on her palm
two strangers
I speak Urdu
and the bird tweets
a fruit stall
where I can buy
the red planet
thinking meadows…
there grows green
on my grave
the busy road
cars, pedestrians and
goats

the bird bathes
in moonlight
under a shelter
goats and goatherd
calmly watch the rain
how calmly the man among the walking ants
